Club Officer Leadership Training (COLT)
The COLT program is a training session held each spring for all newly elected club officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer).
COLT covers all areas of club officer duties by providing specific training for each board position.
The COLT program also includes group training for each new team of officers. This training will give each club board the chance to begin working together as a team by examining the current position of each club, setting club goals for the coming year, and defining Committee Chair positions. COLT also offers officers a first-hand look at the expectations and strengths of their fellow board members. Each club board has the opportunity to meet and share ideas with officers of other clubs and members of the District Board. They learn how to run club meetings, prepare an agenda, and work with Lieutenant Governors.
